What permanence means on Bitcoin
The record does not depend on us.
A Bitcoin transaction is a public record that no single company keeps for you. Ordinals put data — an image, a text, a piece of music — into that record directly. Alkanes adds programs, so a collection can enforce its own rules on the chain instead of on someone's server. SUBFROST moves bitcoin into those programs and back out again. Fractal Bitcoin carries heavier files than the base chain is built for. Aries Labs did not create any of these. We build with them, so that what you own keeps working whether or not we are the ones serving it.

What Aries Labs is
Aries Labs is a small team that ships. We build developer tooling for the Alkanes Protocol, we run our own indexing and node infrastructure, and we built our own launchpad to publish collections through. Our products are self-custodial: we never hold a key for you. We open-source the tools other builders can use, and we say plainly what does not work yet. The record of what we ship is public, and it is the only claim we make.
